Sophie and Karl’s wedding day in Salisbury held many moments, from a busy morning of preparation to a ceremony full of emotions and a celebration that carried late into the night.
The day began with Sophie getting ready at the Riverside Hotel, followed by the journey across the city to St Andrew’s Church. The ceremony gathered everything into one place, emotions, anticipation and shared presence, before opening into confetti, hugs and laughter outside.
The celebration continued at the South Wilts Golf Club. One of the most powerful moments came later in the day, when EVO (Evolution Choir), a choir Sophie sings with, surprised her with a series of emotional songs. The atmosphere in the room shifted immediately, drawing everyone together. From there, the celebrations continued with music and a dance floor that stayed full till the end of the day.
This wedding was photographed using my La Dolce Vita option, with twelve hours of coverage to follow the day in full, from preparation through to the energy that unfolds later on.
A selection of images that tell the story of the day.
