This Salisbury wedding photography story unfolded on 31 January, beginning with Bonnie leaving home with her dad in a classic VW campervan. At Salisbury Methodist Church, Andy was already waiting, visibly moved as the ceremony approached. Family and friends filled the room, ready for a service that opened with emotion and gradually shifted into laughter. Their boys were right there with them, and you could feel both families coming together in one space.
Just outside the church, the January light shifted between soft cloud and brief moments of sun, giving space for family and couple portraits before everyone headed to The Stones Hotel.
Music shaped both ceremony and reception. Musical notes appeared in the decorations, and the Wedding Cake carried a grand piano on top alongside a playful bride catching her groom. A magician moved between tables during the wedding breakfast, guiding the afternoon, and later Andy joined two members of his band on keyboards for a couple of songs. It was simply part of who they are and how they celebrate together.
This wedding was photographed with six hours of Le Essenze coverage, from just before Bonnie left home through to the cake cut at The Stones Hotel.
The gallery was delivered on Valentine’s Day, and within hours Bonnie and Andy had shared a five star review. A fitting close to a day built around love, family, music and celebrations.
Below is a selection of images that tell the story of the day.
