Sarah and Hermanus’ wedding in Southampton brought together family and friends from across the UK, Europe and South Africa.
As Sarah was getting ready at her family home, Hermanus and his groom party met with the second shooter in the University Library gardens for some relaxed and fun portraits before the ceremony.
The atmosphere carried that familiar mix of anticipation, emotion and excitement that builds in the hours before a ceremony begins.
Sarah arrived at Highfield Church accompanied by her older brother, who walked beside her to the altar. The emotions were already building during the aisle walk, with the church filled by family and friends waiting for the ceremony to begin.
After the ceremony, guests gathered outside for confetti before everyone returned inside the church for the cake cutting.
Rain started shortly before everyone left for Townhill Park House, but a couple of umbrellas were all we needed for beautiful portraits in the gardens around the house.
Drinks were followed by the wedding breakfast, speeches and toasts before the evening celebrations began. A live ceilidh band opened the dance floor before guests joined in for a lively evening of music and dancing. Sparklers outside the house closed the final part of the celebration late into the evening.
La Dolce Vita, 12hrs extended wedding photography coverage across the full day, with additional second shooter for groom preparations, guest arrivals and ceremony coverage.
